I remember John in many of my classes at RHS.  I remember him being a good looking, friendly classmate.  So sorry to hear of his passing.

John and I were good friends- he was called Spider and I was Parrot.  Played a lot of basketball with him too.  Sorry he is no longer around.

John "Spider" Bargellini. If you knew him then you knew he was always up to something. First day of school one year, we had a teacher named Mrs Fuchs. John being John, may have set a still existening record for earliest to be suspended, when he walked into class & asked if she was, "Mrs F**cks?"

Well, I left Yonkers, New York, in 1966, went to college at the University of Miami, for 4 years. After graduation, moved to Southern, California, and never left? So, it's been a long time since I've lived in Yonkers. However, there are names of people I remember,  that stand out, never to be forgotten. John was a friend, neighbor, and a great guy. May he rest in peace.......

I never forgot the time John took exception to the way an instructor was teaching a music class at Walt Whitman JHS. John was challenged to come up to the stage to see if he could do better. Undaunted, John took over the class with some jokes that got us laughing. We looked at each other in our seats, surprised and delighted he did so well. Students ruled that day. Your passing is our loss John.
