Lynn passed 8 years ago from pancreatic cancer I miss her and think of her every day. After college she lived and worked in the city as a stylist and was well know and accomplished in her field. She had many friends and was a "REAL" New Yorker. She refused to leave Manhantan after 911. I remember asking her if she thought of moving....... her reply,"I'm standing my ground and I'm not afraid". She was one tough cookie!. She needed that strength through her battle with cancer. She is my hero and my memories of our frienship that started in homeroom at Walt Whitman Junior High School and continued though the years is close and dear to me. Lynn, I love you forever. Lanie
I remember her so well and was so shocked when I read her obituary in the New York Times years ago. We were close friends for many years. We used to test cosmetics for her sister when we worked at Scarsdale Bath and Tennis Club. Donna Bonante Burch worked with us.
I was so upset to learn of Lynn's passing recently. Although I had lost contact with Lynn after RHS, I felt my life was enriched by the time I shared "hanging out" with Lynn. I will cherish that friendship forever.
Your testimony to Lynn was beautiful and heartbreaking. I read the memorials with such sadness because reconnecting with classmates I haven't seen through the years makes me feel like we're still teenager's until you realize just how much each of has gone through. Rest in peace Lynn Bellin you were always a class act.
It doesn't surprise me at all that Lynn became a stylist. I remember Lynn always came to school looking like a million bucks. Her make-up was perfect. Her clothes were perfect. And she always had a smile on her face. She was indeed a class act. She died too young.
Although I was never a really a close friend with Lynn I remember her well and her beautiful eyes and smile. She had such a pleasant personality and was very soft spoken.I was sorry to hear about her passing . She will fondly be remembered
